Most bath salts are just Epsom salt. Mine starts with Dead Sea magnesium chloride, adds Epsom salt and aluminum-free baking soda, then coconut oil so your skin feels soft, not tight. Eight essential oils make it smell cool and minty with a soft floral finish. Soak 30 minutes and let the day go.

How to use

Shake the bag first, since the oils settle. Stir ½ to 1 cup into a hot bath and soak for about 30 minutes, with as much of your body under the water as you can.

Good to know

Why shake it? The coconut and essential oils settle to the bottom. A quick shake mixes them back in.

Will the oil make my tub slippery? It's a small amount, but take care getting in and out, and give the tub a quick rinse afterward.

Sensitive to aspirin or salicylates? Skip this one. Wintergreen oil contains methyl salicylate, a compound related to aspirin.

Pregnant, nursing, on medication or managing a health condition? Check with your healthcare provider before using. Some of the oils in this blend aren't recommended during pregnancy.
